The Beach Boys ft John Stamos in Tilburg, NL

The day after the festival, I started my day by going bowling with all my cousins before going for ice creams with my uncle and aunties and my mom who joined us all together with my grandma. She would turn 92 on July 1st. Since all the grandchildren were already together they decided that all the children would join them for ice cream, as a celebration for my grandma’s birthday. By the time mom and I had to leave, everyone else left as well so we didn’t miss anything.

We did leave a bit too late which led us getting by the venue JUST in time before the show was about to start. They had already started playing the first song by the time someone from the venue found us to get us to the stage.

Getting a déjà vu already? I sure did when we saw Tara who told us she would take us on stage! Just like 5 years ago, I was able to sit on the side of the stage to enjoy the show.

When we got up there John was just looking over our way so I waved at him and he waved back while playing. Soon the other band members who saw me the day before also waved at me during that first song, including Bruce.

During one of John’s breaks he came over to me to hug me, all soaking wet from the sweat but hey, a hug is a hug right? And who wouldn’t want to hug a sweaty John Stamos 😉

During the intermission they even installed an air vent for him because he was sweating like crazy! Then again, he’s constantly moving around or drumming like crazy

I really loved seeing the band up close like that and John was having an amazing time again. He even did guitar tricks with Brian. He does it every night but last night it kind of failed but luckily tonight it worked out perfectly.

Tim Bonhomme, who plays keyboards, even came to give me a hug when the first part of the show was done and they went into intermission.

Right before they were going to play Barbara Ann, Bruce came up to me and handed me his setlist, just like he did 5 years ago as well.

At the end of the show they always play Barbara Ann and all of a sudden John started pulling some people from the audience who were standing front row. Before I knew it, Tara came up to me, grabbed my hand and took me to John where he put his guitar in my hands while he was playing.

After that song, right before they were going to play the final song and I was walking back to my seat, Bruce grabbed my hand and led me to my seat. He’s always such a gentleman to me. He was 5 years ago and still was that night as well. I was happy that he recognized me from 2017 because I didn’t think he would but guess he did.

The show in Tilburg was a whole other level than the one in Belgium (there it was an outdoor show at a festival in the pouring rain while this one was inside a venue)

After the show we got to go backstage and got treated like one of the crew in their backstage lounge! We even got to drink wine.

It took a while before John came to the lounge because he had to freshen up first and then they had to make a commercial spot with the whole band.

When John saw me holding a glass of rosé he jokingly shouted: Oh my God, she’s drinking wine! Are you even old enough? He also told me he had already eaten half of the box of chocolates I gave him! I gave him 1 kilo of chocolates and he already ate half of them? No chocolates for Billy unfortunately…

I’ll definitely bring another box to him when I’m back in LA on my next visit and then I’m going to order him to leave some for Billy 😉

By the time they almost had to leave I was finally able to take a picture with John.

While John and I were taking our picture together, Bruce got to us and he was joking that he was getting jealous that I was holding John so tightly. That’s when John told Bruce to join us for a picture with the three of us together.

I also FINALLY had the great honor meeting the one and only Mike Love.

Everyone in the entire band was so nice to me and their shows are always the best.

A special thanks goes to Tara who arranged everything for me on John’s behalf. She was such a sweet, fun lady. Really loved her a lot too.

I seriously can’t believe how far and beyond John went this time for me to get me backstage and let him meet him even though he didn’t really have much time.

Always will be FOREVER grateful for John for EVERYTHING he always does for me. Really shows how much he loves me and it sure it mutual💗

Will never ever forgot this most amazing, special yet emotional weekend😘

xoxo
