Hello everyone!

Today I was able to check off something off my bucket list: spotting whales & dolphins in the big ocean!

We went on a boat trip where we were able to first spot some pilot whales. It was amazing to see them so close to our boat! Pilot whales are among the largest of the oceanic dolphins, exceeded in size only by the orca. They and other large members of the dolphin family are also known as blackfish.

After we spotted the whales we went to another place where we were able to spot some bottlenose dolphins.

Bottlenose dolphins are aquatic mammals in the genus Tursiops. They are common, cosmopolitan members of the family Delphinidae, the family of oceanic dolphins

Unfortunately they were sleeping so we only saw them come above the water to breath so we didn’t get to see much of their faces or they didn’t jump like the pilot whales did.

But it was still amazing to see these beautiful animals up close jump next to you!

I was constantly in awe and even got tears in my eyes as well…

After we spotted all the whales and dolphins in those two areas, it was time to take a lunch stop where we got some pasta with bread.

Those who wanted also got about 15 mins time to get into the water.

This was definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience we will never forget!

These are my mom’s pictures

My brother also made pictures so enjoy his down here below:

Tomorrow we’re gonna have a resting day again as we have another hectic day/night on Friday!

xoxo
